NOTICE TO MOTORISTS On the morning of Saturday March 11th, 2023 Ke Kai Ala Foundation will be holding the 15th Annual Run for Hops 5K/10K Community Run as part of the Kona Brewer’s Festival. Loloku Street and Ma’a Way will be closed from 7:15am to 9:15am for the safety of the participants. No other roads will be closed, but from 7:30am to 9:30am the following streets will have runners along the shoulders and sidewalks: Kuakini Highway, Makala Blvd. Luhia Street. Motorists are encouraged to temporarily avoid these roads and use alternate routes to arrive at their destinations. Special Duty Officers will be controlling traffic and volunteer course guides wearing reflective vests will also be stationed along the areas that will be affected. Rest assured that the safety of our residents and the 500 run/walk participants is our #1 concern! We appreciate your understanding and patience.
