The United States Army Garrison-Hawaii (USAG-HI) is conducting a Time Critical Removal Action (TCRA) at the Pu’u Pa’a Munitions Response Site (MRS) on the Island of Hawaii, Hawaii. The TCRA includes surface and subsurface clearance for potential munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) at four project sites at the Pu’u Pa’a MRS under the Military Munitions Response Program and in accordance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act. USAG-HI has prepared an Action Memorandum to document the Army’s decision to conduct a TCRA at the Pu’u Pa’a MRS. The Action Memorandum will be available for public viewing at the following locations: Hilo Public Library, Kailua-Kona Public Library, and Thelma Parker Memorial Community School Library. The Army will accept comments for 30 days following this Notice of Availability.
