NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to Chapter 91, Hawaii Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC), Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, State of Hawaii, will hold a virtual public hearing on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. to create a new chapter, Chapter 15-321, "Affordable Homeownership Revolving Fund Program," Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR). Written testimony on these proposed
rule-making actions will be accepted through October 31, 2023, at the following address: HHFDC, Attention: Cynthia Nyross, 677 Queen Street, Suite 300, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813; or via email to Cynthia.C.Nyross@hawaii.gov.
The proposed new Chapter 15-321, HAR, will implement the provisions of section 201H-206, Hawaii Revised Statutes, by establishing an affordable homeownership revolving fund program to provide funds for the development of affordable for-sale housing projects, as set forth in Act 227, Session Laws of Hawaii 2021.
The public hearing will be held via the Internet using Microsoft Teams on October 31, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Please go to our website for more information

Interested persons are strongly encouraged to view or download the draft rules electronically at the website:

A paper copy of the proposed rules may be mailed upon receipt of a check made payable to "HHFDC" in the amount of $2.79 for Chapter 15-321 for copying and postage costs.
