NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to Chapter 91, Hawaii Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Hawaii Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism; Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC), will hold a virtual public hearing on November 21, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. to create a new chapter, Chapter 15-309, Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR), and named the "Dwelling Unit Revolving Fund Equity Pilot Program". Written testimony on these proposed rule-making actions will be accepted through November 21, 2023, at the following address: HHFDC, Attention: Cynthia Nyross; 677 Queen Street, Suite 300; Honolulu, Hawaii 96813; or via email to Cynthia.C.Nyross@hawaii.gov.
The proposed new Chapter 15-309, HAR, will implement the provisions of Act 92, Session Laws of Hawaii 2023, by establishing a five-year dwelling unit revolving fund equity pilot program to lower the cost of specified units in for-sale housing development projects for Hawaii residents.
The public hearing will be held virtually via the Internet using Microsoft Teams on November 21, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Please go to HHFDC’s website for more information: https://dbedt.hawaii.gov/hhfdc/.
Interested persons are strongly encouraged to view or download the draft rules electronically at the website: http://dbedt.hawaii.gov/hhfdc/administrative-rules/. A paper copy of the proposed rules may be mailed upon receipt of a check made payable to "HHFDC" in the amount of $2.69 for copying and postage costs.
