WILLIAM EDMUND VAN OSDOL William Edmund Van Osdol, 80, of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii passed away on August 3, 2023 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. He was born on October 22, 1942 in Inglewood California, a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp., worked at many of the hotels up and down the Kona Coast and retired as a Key Control Systems Coordinator at Four Seasons Hualalai. He is survived by wife Leonora “Nani” “Tika” of Kailua-Kona; son, William “Billy V” (Sawako) of Honolulu, Oahu; daughter, Mikilani (Kevin Bronson) Van Osdol of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandsons: Jonah Kaulia of the United States Armed Forces; Leion Van Osdol of Honolulu, Oahu; granddaughter, Erica Bronson of the United States Air Force; sister, Vickie (Steve) Martin of Tigard, Oregon; Nephew, Michael (Laura) Dobbs of Los Angeles, California; amongst numerous cousins, Kathy (Roy) Adkins&Sandra Davis, both of Nevada. A casual memorial service to be held at 10:00 a.m. on January 13, 2024 in the King Kamehamha Kona Beach Resort Ballroom. Light refreshments&scattering of ashes to follow.
