NOTICE TO BIDDERS INVITATION FOR BID Hilo Residential Complex Housing Renovations Sealed Bids for furnishing all tools, equipment, materials and labor necessary for the construction of Patch Place for renovations of (4) single family residence at 136, 136A, 140, 140A Wainaku Street, Hilo Hawaii 96720. Sealed Bids will be received by Mental Health Kokua, 1221 Kapiolani Blvd Ste 345, Honolulu, HI 96814, until January 26, 2024, at 4:00 pm. Bids received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. Bids will be evaluated on the basis of the total contract amount including State of Hawaii General Excise Taxes. A Pre-Bid meeting will be conducted at the Project Site on January 8, 2024 at 9:am (Time HST). This meeting is not mandatory. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not a condition for submitting a bid, but the meeting is an opportunity to ask questions about contractual requirements and all technical aspects of the project. To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawaii, Contractor’s License and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number through Sam.gov. The project consists of the construction at Patch Place 136, 136A, 140, 140A Wainaku Street, Hilo Hawaii 96720 as follows: add (1) 12 X 16 finished addition, replace (4) roofs&gutters, add (2) ADA ramps, repair and paint exterior (4) buildings, convert (2) ADA bathrooms, renovate (6) non-ADA Bathrooms, renovate (4) kitchen&Laundries, add flooring, all in accordance with the plans and specifications. An unique and confidential link will be provided to interested bidders for access to the plans and bid submittals. The project is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant Program.
