KE KAI ALA FOUNDATION TRAFFIC ADVISORY 16TH Annual Run for Hops 5K&10K Fun Runs On the morning of Saturday March 9th, 2024 KONA BREWFEST will be holding the 16th Annual Run for Hops 5K/10K Community Run as part of the Kona Brewer’s Festival. Loloku Street and Ma’a Way will be closed from 7:15am to 9:15am for the safety of the participants. No other roads will be closed, but from 7:30am to 9:30am the following streets will have runners along the shoulders and sidewalks: Kuakini Highway, Makala Blvd. Luhia Street. Motorists are encouraged to temporarily avoid these roads and use alternate routes to arrive at their destinations. Special Duty Offi cers will be controlling traffi c and volunteer course guides wearing refl ective vests will also be stationed along the areas that will be affected. Rest assured that the safety of our residents and the 550 run/walk participants is our #1 concern! We appreciate your understanding and patience.
