INVITATION FOR BID Kona Residential Housing Renovations Sealed Bids for furnishing all tools, equipment, materials and labor necessary for the construction of Hale Alanoe, will be received by Mental Health Kokua, 75-166 Kalani Street Suite #103 Kailua Kona HI 96740 until MAY 29, 2024, at 4:00 pm. Bids received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. Bids will be evaluated on the basis of the total contract amount including State of Hawaii General Excise Taxes. To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawaii, Contractor’s License and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number through Sam.gov. This project generally consists of the construction of Hale Alanoe, 75-5752 Alanoe Street, Kailua-Kona as follows: ADA ramp replace the front steps and installing an ADA accessible front door ramp, add 16×24 addition increase the common area with a current combined space of an 11×12 living room and 12×13 kitchen from 288 sq ft to 672 sq ft, Kitchen renovate and expand kitchen with new cabinets, flooring, and to include moving the washer and dryer indoors for practical use by residents, Living room renovate and expand living in accordance with the plans and specifications.
