REQUEST FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS HILO HALE RESIDENTIAL HOUSING RENOVATION PROJECT (EAST HAWAII)

Mental Health Kokua is soliciting a licensed general contractor for construction services to, Remodel two (2) bathrooms, repair, remove and install interior flooring, exterior residential repairs and painting, gutter and downspouts replacement, walkway repairs including handrails installation to its residence located in Hilo, Hawaii All potential solicitors are invited to submit a bid proposal to the Hilo Hale Residential Housing Renovation (the “Project”) no later than the deadline and in accordance with the specifications, scope of work, and other requirements of the Project as provided for herein and in the Request for Proposal. It is Required that potential contractors attend a site visit and inspection of the Project. To submit a bid, all potential bidders will be required to attend an on-site visit and inspection of the property. Contractors can contact Kristy Lungo (contact info below) to arrange an appointment during the Weeks starting Monday, October 7th, 2024 through Monday October 21st, 2024. All prospective Contractors interested in submitting a bid for the Project are required to visit the site by the above deadline prior to submitting a bid. The site visit and inspection will address any questions regarding the scope of work for the Project. Please email or call the contact listed below to make an appointment. Contractors are encouraged to follow-up with a phone call to ensure your request was received. The RFP packet will be provided to contractors upon request via email or during the site visit. Bid Proposals for the Project received after the deadline will not be accepted or considered. Any and all costs incurred in preparing or delivering bids in connection with the Project will not be reimbursed. All bids and requested information and documentation submitted in connection with the Project shall become the property of Mental Health Kokua and will not be returned. Mental Health Kokua reserves the right to request for additional information or any additional information or clarification from bidders that submit a bid, reject any or all bids, waive any bid irregularities, select the bid that is in the best interest of the Project and not necessarily the lowest cost bid with consideration of bidders experience, references, past performance, compliance and comprehensive quality of proposals, timeline for completion of project, negotiate any changes deemed necessary for the Project before or after the signing of the construction contract, and to cancel the Request for Contractor Bids at any time.
