WATER NOTICE
AFFECTED AREA: ALL SERVICES ALONG MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (HWY 11)
BETWEEN RABBIT HILL ROAD AND HO’OKENA BEACH ROAD
(APPROXIMATELY MILE MARKER 107 SOUTH TO MILE
MARKER 101), INCLUDING ALL SIDE ROADS AND LANES;
HONAUNAU, SOUTH KONA, HAWAI’I
The Department of Water Supply will be conducting a fire hydrant flow test along Mamalahoa Highway (Hwy. 11) from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test. Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.
