TRAFFIC ADVISORY – PATH Kona Bike Day On Saturday, January 24, 2026, PATH-People for Active Transportation Hawaii will host a FREE bicycle day for kids of all ages to ride bikes on Ali’i Drive. Ali’i Drive from Likana Lane to Hualalai Road will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the safety of the participants, cyclists, and volunteers on the road during that time. No other roads will be closed. Motorists are encouraged to temporarily avoid these roads and use alternate routes to arrive at their destinations. Special Duty Officers will be controlling traffic and volunteer course guides wearing reflective vests will also be stationed along the areas that will be affected.
