NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The STATE OF HAWAII PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION ("Commission"), pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes §§ 269-7, HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it will convene a public meeting to address the urgent situation regarding the lack of services for customers of Punalu’u Water and Sanitation, LLC (“PWS”). At the meeting, PWS representative(s) will be tasked with addressing PWS’s interim and long-term plans for service restoration and other related matters. The meeting will also include a public comment period during which affected customers and other members of the public may voice their concerns. The Commission will also ask that PWS and the Consumer Advocate remain after the meeting to answer customers’ questions.
The meeting will be held in person on Monday, October 19, 2026, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at the following location:

All interested persons are invited to attend the public meeting to state their views.
