COUNTY OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS ENGINEERING DIVISION HURRICANE LANE DAMAGE REPAIR FOR VARIOUS BRIDGE LOCATIONS JOB NO. E-4566 NOTICE TO MOTORISTS & PUBLIC Beginning Monday, July 20, 2026. Bridge closure and construction repairs will begin for the County of Hawaii Department of Public Works Engineering Division. The project will consist of structural rehabilitation of damages at bridge abutments foundations, wing walls, and adjacent stream banks. The construction work and repairs are expected to be completed on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Bridge Closure hours will be from 7:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday, except for Weekends and Holidays. Residents should expect some noise associated with the construction and repair activities. Motorists in the area shall use caution and observe and obey all traffic controls and posted detour signs while driving near the construction work zone area. Please allow additional travel time in anticipation of these delays.
